Softball

Spring/Summer

Game Times: 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, & 8:00 pm

Men’s Wood Bat: Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays

Men’s Over 35: Thursdays

Co-Ed: Tuesdays

 Women's: Monday & Wednesday

Fall

Game Times: 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, & 9:00 pm

Men’s Wood Bat: Mondays, Fridays

*Residency Rules for Softball Leagues 
  • Team rosters are allowed up to five non-residents.  All non-residents must be noted on the roster. 
  • Non-resident teams MAY be accepted into Coed, Men’s B Division, or Over 35 Division as space allows, at the discretion of Shelton Parks and Rec.
  • To be considered for any league, Non-resident team members must have primary residency in the same town “ex. Monroe” with a maximum of 5 players who are “out-of-town”. 
  • There are no residency requirements for the Men’s Wood bat A Division.
  • The Shelton Softball League is open to residents of the City of Shelton.  Residency is defined as anyone who lives in Shelton, works full-time in Shelton, or pays property/land taxes to the City of Shelton. 
  • A player who has graduated from Shelton High School will be considered a resident.  Proof of residency must be furnished to Parks and Recreation upon request within 5 business days.

Volleyball

Fall/Winter

Men’s A: Mondays, 7:15 pm or 8:15 pm

Men's B: Mondays, 6:15 pm or 7:15 pm

Women’s: Tuesdays 6:15 pm

Co-Ed A: Wednesdays 7:15 pm or 8:15 pm

Co-Ed B: Wednesdays 6:15 pm or 7:15 pm

*Residency Rules for Volleyball Leagues 
  • Each team is allowed only one out of town player. All other players must live, work, or pay taxes on land or buildings in the city of Shelton or be a graduate of Shelton High School. Players should be listed on the roster the way they are eligible.

     

Basketball

  • All players must reside in Shelton, work in Shelton full time, be a land/building taxpayer in Shelton, or have graduated from Shelton High School. Those working in Shelton must list the employing firm and phone number on the roster sheet
